I’m glad to see you doing your research as it’s the only way to avoid all the scams out there and to find the legit opportunities that can earn you an actual income.
Ethbux is what’s known as a PTC or paid-to-click site. It pays you for clicking on ads and visiting websites.
After the rise of automated scripts like EvolutionScript PTC sites have become a business in a box type of things that are being sold very cheaply. You can set up a professional-looking PTC site for a few hundred dollars these days.
PTC sites are also often set up in an attempt to make a quick buck from advertisers and the owners sometimes don’t care enough about their side hustle to make sure all the users get paid.
There are literally thousands upon thousands of these similar anonymous and clone-like PTC sites out there and unfortunately, most of them aren’t really trustworthy. They might pay you the few cents you earn for a while but they are usually short-lived as their owners forget about them eventually.
The question is if Ethbux is different. Is it legit and should you spend your time on it if you want to make money online? Let’s find out.
Before we continue I want you to know that I’m not affiliated with Ethbux in any way. I just like to check out online earning opportunities and give my readers an educated guess if they are something they should spend their precious time and money on.
What Is Ethbux
As we already establish Ethbux is a PTC site that pays you for cliking on ads and similar functions. It’s a run-of-the-mill Evolution Sciprt PTC site that looks extremely similar to other PTC sites I’ve reviewed like: Earn home bux , PushpBux, StarClix, SerpClix.
Notice how the names look similar? For some reason, the endings Bux and Clix are extremely common with these sites. Maybe the scripts recommend them. Who knows (or cares).
These websites offer typically several different income sources for users ranging from clicking ads to watching videos.
Ethbux offers daily ads, an “Ethgrid” which is a game of chance that takes you to sponsored sites for a chance to win, Ad packs, and paid to signup offers.
Ethbux also offers advertisers the opportunity to get visitors on their sites. This is where these services make their money, they sell ad space. The problem with this is that the people visiting your site won’t be interested in your content.
Ethbux pays up to $0.02 per click and it usually takes between 10 to 60 seconds to complete a click. You can do the math how much earning potential there is and if it’s worth your time.
You can get paid through Skrill, Payeer, Perfect Money, Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. As of writing this they have paid out a bit over $2000 and have over 10 000 members.
As usual with these sites, there is no information about the ownership or creators of the website or company. Only a support email address.
Is Ethbux a Scam?
So the question is if Ethbux is a scam or a legit PTC site and more importantly if you should altogether spend your precious time on PTC sites.
Ethbux unfortunately seems to have gathered a bad reputation already a month or so after their launch. According to the FoxyRating review site they currently have a scam status. But here’s the thing, it seems to be due to unjust reasons.
They have been given a scam status because they have been classified as a Ponzi scheme for selling Adpacks. Adpacks are apparently more expensive advertisement packages and the logic here is that they are selling the Ad Packs and paying earnings to users out of that revenue. That doesn’t make it a Ponzi in my opinion, it just makes it a business.
If you look carefully through the reviews it becomes apparent that most of the reviews are positive and the users seem to be getting paid. The site actually seems to have a better rating than many other similar
The site also has a valid Evolution Script license which you would expect from a legit site.
So it actually seems that Ethbux might be a legit PTC site despite the FoxyRating rating. Do I recommend it for making money online? Absolutely not.
Here’s the thing. PTC sites pay you notoriously badly. I’m talking about earning cents a day. A dollar or two if you are really active.
I don’t know about you, but my time is more valuable than that. More importantly, you don’t learn or hone any skills while participating in PTC sites.
If you write blog posts or e-books, create YouTube videos, do email marketing, or anything really that requires creativity, you become better at it. Those are high-value skills that correlate directly with your income as you hone them.
So think carefully if you want to spend your time doing stuff that doesn’t require any skill. Don’t be afraid to learn new skills either, you have the potential within you. All it takes is a bit of belief in yourself.
That said, if you are absolutely set on making money with PTC sites, I recommend you register for 50 or so legit ones and develop a strict daily routine to click on the daily ads. Might be a good idea to invest in a VPN and make sure your online security is up to date. Some of the ads on these sites are shady.
Other than that it’s very unlikely to really get scammed with these PTC sites. They depend on your clicks because they make money by selling traffic so it’s very unlikely they don’t pay you. Even if they don’t, you’ll only lose cents and stick with the sites that do pay.
You Can Make An Actual Income Online
Since you are here I’m going to show you a business model that I use and that you can start with zero skill. I personally liked it when starting out because it didn’t require me to go in front of a camera or become a professional writer. It allowed me to learn stuff step-by-step and grow as I go.
I’m talking about online affiliate marketing combined with search engine optimization and blogging. In a nutshell it’s about creating a website around a niche and then creating content on it. Posts like the ones you are reading right now.
The process is really simple in reality but there are of course a ton of little technical things you need to know. That what caused me to fail initially.
Until I found a training that showed me in a simple step-by-step manner how to build a site, how to choose a niche, how to search for keywords, how to structure content, how to get traffic etc.
I’m not going to lie to you, it does require work. But it’s absolutely worth it in the end. Your website is an asset that produces passive income streams for a long time after you’ve created a piece of content.
If you build it big enough, it allows you to earn a full-time income from your website so you have complete freedom to work when and where ever you want.
A nice bonus is that the skills you learn are high-value skills that you can use the create a business of your own or to improve your status on the job market.
So if you are fantasizing about making real money online, this is one of the most reliable and tested business models out there. And it absolutely works still in 2020, I started in 2018 and I already have two income-producing websites.
Conclusion
Ethbux is another clone Evolution Script PTC site. At least they got a legal license and they have a lot of confirmed payments. There’s is still some controversy as well.
I personally find PTC sites a waste of time so I can’t really recommend the service to you but I have no doubt that you can earn a few quick cents through them.
