The chances are that someone you know has approached you about the business opportunity at Seacret or tried selling you their products. Or maybe someone is praising them in your social media feed.
Either way, you wanted to check out more information on the company and wound up here! I'm going to focus more on the business opportunity than their actual products in this review since my website is about business opportunity reviews, not skincare products.
Before we continue, I want you to know that I'm not affiliated with Seacret in any way. I just check out business opportunities and share my finding with my readers.
I mainly focus on online business opportunities, the so-called "make money online" niche, but I also check out other types of business opportunities, including MLM companies.
In case your not familiar with MLM businesses, it stands for multi-level marketing, which is a type of pyramid business model. But it's not the same thing as a pyramid scheme. Why I'm telling you this, is because Seacret Direct seems to be an MLM company

Seacret Direct is not a scam but a well established MLM company in the skin care niche.
Seacret Direct is actually a marketing branch of the mother company Seacret. Seacret didn't start as an network marketing company but it has definitely allowed them to get to the next level in sales.
That said, I can't really recommend Seacret Direct as a business opportunity unless you are experienced with direct selling and network marketing, because the odds are against you.
You need certain skills and qualities to become a successful network marketer and unfortunately most people don't have it in them as proven by FTC statistics.

What Is Seacret Direct
Seacret Direct is a subsidiary of Seacret, a skincare retail business formed in 2005 by brothers Izhak and Moty Ben.
The brothers originally started selling Israeli Dead Sea skincare products out of kiosks but turned it into a full-scale business by forming Seacret in 2005.
In 2011 they formed Seacret Direct which is direct selling aka network marketing aka MLM branch that uses a network of independent sales reps or "Seacret Agents" to sell Seacret products directly to consumers.
Seacret Direct operates at least in the US, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Mexico, Japan, and Colombia.
Their direct selling efforts seem to be doing very well as the company's unaudited revenue has grown from $12 million in 2012 to whopping $211.5 in 2018.
The Business Opportunity
Since Seacret Direct is an MLM company, they offer you a business opportunity by becoming a Seacret Agent aka independent sales rep.
What makes it multi-level is the fact that each individual agent can recruit additional sales reps in their downline. Each agent will then earn a share of the sales revenue the agent below them make from sales for several levels of recruitment.
If you understand a bit of math, you will realize that you can have hundreds or even thousands of people beneath you, earning you revenue.
Now, this might sound like a pyramid scheme, but network marketing is actually legal in most parts of the world. It only becomes illegal when the majority of money comes into the system from the participation fees of new recruits.
In a legal MLM you the majority of revenue comes from sales to consumers and independent reps won't generally earn commissions from recruitment of new members alone. There are usually bonuses for recruitment however and this is the case with Seacret Direct as well.
How Can You Make Money With Seacret?
If you become a Seacret sales agent, you can essentially make money in two ways. By selling Seacret products to consumers or by recruiting sales reps beneath you so you can earn a share from their sales.

What does It Cost To Become A Secret Agent?
The registration fee to join Seacret Direct is currently $49. By registering, you become an Agent, but you need to also either close deals, get customers or order products to remain active.
The Products You'll Be Selling
The products you'll be selling as a Seacret agent are skincare products made out of Dead Sea minerals and the latest technologies in skincare.
Some of their most popular products are Dead Sea minerals containing mud masks and bath salts that supposedly pull impurities from your skin and rejuvenates your skin.
Is Seacret Direct A Scam?
No, I wouldn't call Seacret Direct business opportunity a scam. Seacret is a legit company with a network marketing branch.
While many people get MLMs and pyramid schemes confused and use the words synonymously, they are not the same thing.
MLM companies that get the majority of their revenue from selling products or services to consumers are completely legal in most parts of the world.
It is clear that Seacret is selling tons of products to consumers. They've also been around since 2005 and Seacret Direct since 2011.
Pyramid schemes are generally very short-lived because authorities will eventually realize what they are doing and shut the operation down.
There also don't seem to be any concerning lawsuits or FTC investigations, for example, that could suggest it's a pyramid scheme or otherwise
They are also quite an effective way to grow the distribution of the company and to cut out a lot of middlemen from the distribution chain, resulting in more competitive pricing for the consumer.
So Seacret Direct seems to be a legit business that happens to offer a network marketing business opportunity. So it's not a scam or a pyramids c
BUT, here's the thing. MLMs are notorious for the low success rate of individual sales reps. FTC has estimated that up to 90% of all MLM reps fail to make any significant profit. But the remaining 10% usually do very well.
That's why I can't really recommend Seacret Direct as a business opportunity unless you are very experienced with direct sales and network marketing.
What I Recommend Instead
So you want or need to start a home-based business, but MLMs are not an option, what to do? Well, my number one recommendation is online affiliate marketing.
It's a business model that allows you to create online assets that create your income on automation. Always think big when starting a business. If you can avoid manual steps and automate things, this means you can scale it indefinitely,
This is because your time is the most limiting factor in how fast and large your business can grow. In regular business, you hire employees when you can't get everything done on your own.
In online business, you can outsource things as well, but you can do it with freelancers. This removes all the risks of being an employer.
But you can also grow your business to full-time income all on your own. This is because the income structure is cumulative. You create piece of content once and it creates income for several years some times. You create a hundred more and your income increases.
That is at least the case if you do it as I do. I combine affiliate marketing with search engine optimized content on my websites.
People Google stuff, find my sites, and buy the stuff I recommend. I only recommend stuff I can vouch for, so I know my readers are happy with their purchases.

Seacret Direct definitely doesn't seem to be a scam but unfortunately, your odds aren't very good with network marketing. That said, if you have the right skillset and qualities, you can make serious income with MLMs.
I personally prefer online marketing because it allows me to work on my business from anywhere in the world and it's working for me 24/7. Even when I sleep!
Make no mistake, this involves serious work as well and you won't earn anything in the beginning. But if you are willing to do the initial work and keep growing your business, you will be rewarded with a scalable business that generates income on automation and is scalable limitlessly.
