Welcome to my Picoclix Review! If you are wondering if the PTC site Picoclix.net is legit and worth your time and effort, you've come to the right place.
First of all, I want to congratulate you on doing your research. It's the only way to find the legit ways to make money online and avoid the thousands of scams out there.
If you are new to making money online and Paid To Click (PTC) sites, you might be wondering how this stuff works and why does someone pay you for clicking on ads.
Well first of all PTC sites are probably the easiest way to earn money online. But they are probably the hardest way to earn any meaningful amount of money online.
You see, generally, the income potential is measured in cents or in dollars at tops. But the reason why PTC sites pay for clicks is that they actually get money from the advertisers.
Depending on how honest the PTC site is they might actually have partners that pay for the fact that they improve brand recognition and might get a sale here or there or the site might simply be a third party click platform that sells "visitors" to unsuspecting advertisers.
These kinds of paid visitors are of course rarely worth it to the advertisers since the people only click on the ads to earn a few cents, not because they are actually interested in the product.
But the real question is if Picoclix is legit and can you earn enough with it to be worth the trouble. Read on to find out!
Before we continue, I want you to know I'm writing this as an independent third party review, I'm not affiliated with the program in a way, I'm not writing this to share my referral link.
I just review online business opportunities and give my opinion if they seem like an effective way to earn a living online. That's what my site is about, after all, teaching people how to make money online so they can diversify their income.
What Is Picoclix.net
Picoclix.net is a Paid To Click site that offers you the possibility to earn money by clicking on ads. It is an EvolutionScript based PTC site that looks very similar to hundreds of other PTC sites, some of which I've reviewed in the past.
EvolutionScript is the base software these PTC sites are built on. They offer the basic functionalities and backend of the PTC functionality, the site owner has just to make the layout and some front end adjustments to make their service unique.
This is the reason why many of these PTC sites are very similar. I like to refer to them as clone PTC sites because that's what they essentially are.
It seems like EvolutionScript is essentially selling a "Business in a box" that service providers buy, customize and start running. They, of course, need to attract both advertisers and users as they are what brings money into the system. Typically the service provider takes a small share of the ad revenue.
With Picoclix there are also user fees that bring money into the system. You can upgrade your membership to earn better click and referral rates.
For members Picoclix offers:
- Up to $0.04 per click rates
- Up to $0.02 per referral click
- Advanced referral activity filter
PTC sites offer space for advertisers as that's the main way to produce income. Basically they sell ad space and traffic in the form of clicks. Of course with the notion that the traffic is paid for.
For advertisers Picoclix offers:
- Website advertisement
- Rotation plan
- Multiple Ad packs
- GeoMap statistics
- Anti-cheat protection
- Instant advertising approval
People Behind Picoclix
When I intially started writing this article, I couldn't find any information on the owner of Picoclix but after doing some more research, it turns out the service is associated with a cryptocurrency called Pico Media Coin.
On that about us page Picoclix.net is listed as the property of Pico Media Group. The page mentions one name:
"The media is sponsored by an Iranian person named Arash Rafaat, a citizen. He is born in Iran and has experienced various successful activities to date. What is the purpose of this set of launching this digital token? Let's answer your question. This digital token is based on the launch of the largest online revenue generating platform on social networks and targets its long-term plans such as network setup Social and unique atmosphere that users can earn on social networking platforms instead of using their time and energy in vain."
That's about all the information I could find about the people behind Picoclix. But the fact there seems to be a real company and a real person behind it makes it already a more legit operation than many of the clone PTC sites.
How Does Picoclix Work
Like all these EvolutionScript PTC sites, Picoclix is pretty straight forward to use. Just register an account and log in.
You can then click ads from the ads page to show the advertisements. When you click on an ad it takes you to a target site where you will have to wait for a loading bar to complete and then solve a captcha puzzle (to make sure you're not a bot).
When you solve the captcha, your account will get the credit. When you have reached the
Click an advertisement and wait until the loading bar completes. Confirm the captcha and your balance is credited! As soon as your account balance reaches a certain threshold you can make a request for payout.
You can also refer people into the system through the referral page. You can generate a personalized referral link, which will
Upgrading your membership plan will increase the amount of money you earn per click.
Is Picoclix A Scam?
I'm not going to decide for you if Picoclix is a scam, I'm just going to point out some facts so you can draw your own conclusions. Always use critical thinking and never trust anyone online, not even me.
At first glance, Picoclix definitely seems to be running a legit operation. They have been around for several months now and there is plenty of user data to declare they are a legit PTC site. They seem to pay you the money you earn. Mostly.
Unlike some of the shady clone PTC sites, Picoclix is running a legal EvolutionScript. This is, of course, a good thing as there seem to be pirated versions out there and that's why evolution script has included a free license checker on their site:
Picoclix has a very good rating at FoxyRating for example. They have 4.5/5.0 rating with over 1300 reviewers so that pretty much proves they are a legit in my opinion.
The only real red flag is that they don't seem to tell anything about the ownership on the site. No owner, CEO, company name, no nothing. Not even a contact email.
Then again, as I said, these sites are probably bought as a ready business so I wouldn't be surprised if the site is run by a single individual that wants to keep their identity secret for one reason or another. (Update: Check the "People Behind Company" for information on ownership).
I guess what matters is that you get paid, but I have a principle of not doing business with anyone who doesn't offer any ownership information. Then again I do protect my own identity at least partly because identity theft is a real thing.
Another disconcerting thing is that FoxyRating also discloses that they have received a lot of negative contacts about the site and if you check out the 1-star comments, there are a lot of claims that the site actually has fake user accounts by the admin, that the site is a scam and that they only pay premium members.
Now the way I see it, there are two options. Either the owner of the site is running an elaborate scheme and has either tons of fake profiles or minions writing positive review OR the positive reviews are real and the few negative comments are from disgruntled customers and competitors.
When you consider there are 175 five star ratings and 26 one-star ratings, I would wager on the latter option.
There is also the possibility that the admin of the site gives a bit more privileges to paying members. It's a business, one can expect that in my opinion. Some people just want everything free.
The admin of the site has actually answered many of the questions at FoxyRating, so this is likely the case. I just wish they were open about their personal information as this would add a lot of credibility.
Is Picoclix worth it?
So they do pay you the money you earn so the real question becomes how much can you earn with Picoclix and if it's worth your time?
Well, let's look at how much you can first. If you check out some of the proof of payments on their website, you will see that many people are earning up to $60 on it. Actually there seem to be a lot of exactly $66.50 payouts so I started to wonder if that's some kind of upper limit for payouts but couldn't find any confirmation on this.
If you could earn $66.50 daily, that would be phenomenal. After doing a bit more digging I found out that the admin of the site is apparently is requiring you to register for a premium plan and then you can apparently withdraw every 4 days.
$66.50 every four days would still be phenomenal income for a PTC site. I would also guess that it's pretty much impossible to get to that level by clicking on ads, you need to refer people and get part of their commissions.
So I guess if you can get enough people referred, you might make some nice side income. But if you simply stick on clicking ads, the income will be minimal as the max payment per click is $0.04.
Unless you are willing to market the system in social media for example to get referrals, I would forget it as a business opportunity.
I personally believe in making passive income online, the kind that can be scaled to full-time and beyond.
PTC site simply offers too little income potential for this and I don't personally like the idea of clicking ads as I value my time too much. I also value the time of others too much to recommend them to click on ads for cents. I would recommend flipping burgers any day over that.
Then again, if you live in a third world country, a couple of dollars per day might be worth the trouble for some extra income.
How To Make Significant Income Online
If you are interested in making money online, my personal recommendation is affiliate marketing.
Unlike PTC sites, affiliate marketing has the potential to produce full-time income and much more over the long run.
But the point is that affiliate marketing is your ticket to the global traffic streams and market, no matter where you live (Well maybe not, if you live in North Korea). Especially if you can write in English, and since you are reading this, you probably can.
The great thing about online affiliate marketing is that you can truly reach the global markets. I live in Europe but 90% of my sales are made by Americans, the rest all over the world.
Another great thing is that this business model is not dependent on location. If you love to travel, you can work on your business from anywhere with an Internet connection.
Since everything happens online, this business model is much more resilient to things like the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. People are actually buying more stuff online currently because they avoid stores.
People are also investing in digital education more and more. With affiliate marketing, you can be there to offer people the best solutions to their problems. And make a buck doing it.
In short, it involves creating relevant content on a website, such as this, and recommending products that are useful to your readers.
The main way you want to get traffic is through organic Google search. Many people claim it's impossible these days but far from it, you just need to know what you are doing.
These skills aren't anything complicated or magical, but you need the right education if you want to succeed. You can check my top recommendation through the link below.
I want you to know this is not a get rich quick scheme, far from it. This is a legit business opportunity but it involves real work in the form of content creation.
You won't get paid in the beginning, you need to be willing to bare through the initial phase while your site builds authority.
But if you can do that, you will be rewarded with a business that produces your income on automation even when you sleep. If you want to fast-track your progress, also check out my free 7-day course.
