Starclix Review: Is Starclix.net A Scam?

Welcome to my Starclix review! If you are wondering is Starclix.net a scam or a legit way to make money online, I'm going to help you find out!

I'm happy to see you are doing the research before investing your money and time on an opportunity. If a service you invest in turns out to be a scam, you can lose a lot of money and time. Something we all hate.

Doing research is the only way to avoid all the scams out there and to find the proven ways to make money online. It's possible to make a full time living online, but don't let anyone tell you it's going to happen overnight.

Starclix is what's called a PTC site. PTC stands for Paid To Click and these sites typically pay you very small fees for simple actions like clicking on adds and playing simple games.

The reason they pay you for it is because they get money from advertisers for the clicks. The PTC sites also offer ad space for advertisers who are looking to get some visitors to their sites or services.

I just find it hard to believe the traffic the advertisers get would be of any real use as they are clearly there to earn a cent, not because they are interested in the advertisements.

But hey, if they are willing to pay, who am I to tell them otherwise. But if you plan on using PTC sites remember that advertisement does affect you subliminally, you are selling hard drive space from your subconsciousness for a very low price.

But I digress, this article is about Starclix. Is it legit? Can you earn money with it? Is it a scam? Let's find out.

Before we continue, I want you to know that I'm not affiliated with Starclix in any way or form. I'm not creating this review to get a referral out of you. I'm just reviewing it as an online business opportunity because that's kinda what I do at this site.

Starclix.net Summary

Product Name: Starclix

Product Type:  PTC website

Product Price: Free to join. Paid memberships ranging from $1/month to $450/year

Summary:

Starclix is another clone PTC site that is based on Evolution Script. It has several red flags which is why I can't recommend it to you as a business opportunity.

There is no information about the people or company who are running the show. They don't have a legal Evolution Script license even though they seem to run it.

There are a lot of negative reviews online how the site is not paying it's members and they utilize fake payment proof.  Even on their own forum.

Even if these reports are false, I can't really recommend these PTC sites as they offer too little income potential and a re time consuming.

If you want to learn how to make a life changing full-time income online for similar time investment, check out my top recommendation through the button below.

What Is Starclix

Starclix is a Paid To Click site that offers you the possibility of income in return of clicking adds, playing games and completing tasks.

You can also get income by referring people into the system. You will earn a commission from all of their earnings. So if you have hundreds of people below you, you might actually make some real money.

Starclix is an EvolutionScript based "clone PTC site". I call them clones because they all essentially have the same features.

For members starclix offers:

  • Up to $0.71/click from clicking advertisements
  • Up to $0.02/click for referral clicks
  • Premium plans starting from $1.00
  • Minimum payout of $0.50
  • Payment through PayPal, Payeer and PM.
  • Supposedly trusted management

Since this is a PTC site they also offer the possibility for advertisers to run their ads. For advertisers, they claim to offer:

  • Affordable prices
  • Enhanced management
  • Potential clients
  • Demographic filter
  • Statistics
  • Cheat protection

As of writing this, there are 9547 members and $1.961 paid out.

People Behind Starclix

Like with most of the PTC sites, there is no information about the creator, owner or CEO of the website/company. There's nothing about a possible company behind the service either.

No contact address, no name, nothing. I personally don't feel comfortable doing business with any company that doesn't disclose any kind of contact details.

I have this theory that most of these PTC sites are run by individuals as side hustles. Since many of them are a bit shady, they don't want to take the risk of giving their personal contact details.

I do understand if you want to protect your identity, as identity theft is a real thing. But you should at least tell something about the ownership of the company. Where it's based etc. Maybe create a LLC.

How Starclix Works

Starclix is pretty straight forward to use like all these clone PTC sites. Just register a free account and you can start clicking on ads.

I made this short video that shows you how the system works and looks like on the inside:

When you click on an ad, you will need to wait a few seconds and solve a captcha before getting paid for clicking the ad.

Another way to earn money is by ClixGrid which is a simple sweepstake where you can win up to $2.0 by clicking on a picture grid where every grid takes you to an advertisers' website.

There is also apparently a $1000 referral contest. Who gets most referrals apparently wins this amount. To be honest that seems an awful lot for a PTC site and there doesn't seem to be any rules anywhere so I'm fairly skeptical.

Finally, you can earn money by referring people to the system. You will earn a commission from their income.

There are also different membership plans that will affect the payout of clicking adds:

Is Starclix A Scam?

There are definitely some major red flags concerning Starclix. The first red flag is that there is no information about ownership.

The second red flag is that Starclix does look like it's running on EvolutionScript but it doesn't seem to have a legal EvolutionScript license.

The evolution script is a PTC GPT based software for websites. Because most of these clone sites use it, they have basically the same features, only they layouts and graphics change.

Their software has apparently been pirated extensively, so they have implemented a license testing service to scout out illegal copies of their software. I do have to point out that there is no way as a user to verify that Starclix isn't running legal proprietary software, so this is all speculation.

The third red flag is that there are a lot of negative reviews stating that users are not receiving payments. Most of these can be found at FoxyRating that, that has given Starclix currently the status of Scam, based on user reviews and running an illegal script.

There are even negative reviews on their own forum:

So due to those red flags, I can't really recommend you use Starclix.

Even if Starclix was legit and paid you your earnings, the earning potential is minimal. Especially when you consider how time-consuming it is to click ads and wait for the load bar to finish.

Typically in PTC sites, there aren't enough daily adds to make any kind of meaningful income. While Starclix seems to offer a fairly good amount of adds, it doesn't really matter if they don't pay you.

I personally think clicking ads don't really add value to anyone so I think it's a bad business model, to begin with.

My Recommendation

If you want to learn how to make real money online, my recommendation is affiliate marketing. I personally think the best resource for learning affiliate marketing is Wealthy Affiliate.

WA is a training and tool platform that includes everything you need to start your own online affiliate marketing business. You will not find a better bang for the buck anywhere, I can promise you that.

They've been around for over 15 years, are based in Canada and have a very clean track record with super satisfied customers, including myself.

I've been with WA for about two years now and at that time I've built two income producing websites.

And I'm not alone with my success, there are thousands of people who have transformed their lives by creating their online businesses and gaining financial freedom. Just check out these success stories (affiliate link) if you don't believe me.

How this stuff works, in a nutshell, is that you pick a niche, you create a site around that niche with targeted content, people find your content through Google, read your content and click on affiliate links of products you recommend.

That success story link is a good example. If you click it, get interested in Wealthy Affiliate and decide to join them, I will earn a small commission. This is of course without any extra cost to you.

To make this a real win-win situation, I will offer you my full support if you do decide to join Wealthy Affiliate. I will become your sponsor and you can contact me any time and I'll promise to do my best to help you out.

As a final word, I want you to know that this is not a get rich quick scheme, this is a legit business model. That, of course, means this takes time and involves work.

You will have to be willing to push through an initial phase where you will not earn any income. This involves a lot of writing, so you better get comfortable with it. It's a skill that you can hone so don't worry.

But if you are willing to stick out the initial phase, you will be rewarded with passive income for years to come and a business that can offer you complete financial and locational freedom. Something that most business models can't achieve.

I am so happy that I found Wealthy Affiliate! I thought I had no skills, but with the proper training – I hit the ground running! I have two websites up that are successful! I highly encourage you to check out Wealthy Affiliate, after all – you can test it for free.

Decent review here. I was looking for a way to make money online, but think ill stay clear of this…might give that wealthy affiliate a bash?

Thanks

Glad you found it useful! Yeah I wouldn’t really recommend this as a business opportunity to make money online. Too many red flags and too little income potential even if everything works as supposed to. Wealthy Affiliate is your best bet at achieving full-time income online without paying an arm and a leg like many so-called “high-ticket” services do. WA is actually very competitively priced.

Thanks for your review of starclix, you obviously are very knowledgeable on these systems. I have heard of the wealthy affiliate program and have heard some great things about it, thanks for the referral I will check it out. Cheers!

Glad you found it useful Robb! I started looking into these systems some time ago as I noticed there are literally thousands of these. That’s how I’ve gotten my knowledge about them.
